Imagine if we all lived our lives with a sense of deep direction and resolve. Do you you have that resolve? Do you have that sense of direction? Do you have that sense of purpose that will enable you to keep your life on track?

There's something attractive about someone who knows where they are going and genuinely have a sense of purpose and direction.

For the most part we all have some idea of where we are going and things we would like to see in our lives. However, have you ever found yourself in a place where you have no choice but to look within for direction? To reflect on the decisions you have made and re-evaluate your life?

Biblically speaking, this is something we should be doing everyday, however life has a way of distracting even the best of us.

"I have set you among my people to bind them to me, and provided you as a LIGHTHOUSE to the nations."

I think it's true in life, when we see someone gaining success or living with a greater sense of joy, we do our best to IMITATE the things they are doing in order to GET what looks good on them. Let me ask you, have you ever tried to live life by "the rules" of what you should do, where you should live, how much you should earn and how you should dress? If you have, you will know that the place you find yourself is surrounded by confusion.

IT'S AN INSIDE JOB! New perspective and experiences will only take you so far!

Direction is defined as "a course along which someone or something moves". Where are you moving? What is your course in life? Aristotle nailed it more than 2000 years ago when he said, "We are what we repeatedly do." It's true! The habits and rituals you practise everyday lay the foundations for what your life is built on, which in turn directs your course! The good news is, the course of your life can change! Just because you failed last week doesn't mean you have to fail this week! Just because you burnout last year doesn't mean it has to happen this year!

Only looking inwards and re-evuating your mission, your decisions and your motives (your WHAT, HOW and WHY) will give you the power needed to change course!

Traveling the East Coast of Australia has really helped bring greater understanding to direction in my life, I mean once upon a time man used the stars to navigate, now (well for most of us) we use GPS!

Imagine if there was a navigating system in place that could direct your life journey!

THERE IS! Everything we know, every invention, every work of art, every song, every innovation was birthed in that, STILL QUIET PLACE.

Working yourself to death isn't the answer! If you're a fighter like me, fighting your way through your storm/confusion isn't the answer either. You have to look within! You have to re-evuate your WHAT, your HOW and ultimately your WHY.
